       Cutting-edge Maritime Industries and Technologies

      Creative Marine Activities and Cooperation of Humankind. 

 - Inform all future actions regarding our oceans.
- Find the balance between production and consumption while preserving diversity of resources, species and culture.
- Identify ways to resolve challenges facing the ocean with advancing technology and shedding lights on human's knowledge through this expo.
-   “The Living Ocean and Coast,” will pave the way for reaffirming global effort to resolve the problems and damages of ocean.
    

VISION OF 2012 YEOSU EXPO

A Vision for Restoring Life to the Sea and Coast

- Sea level rise, the loss of biodiversity, acidification and pollution 

- Restoring sustainable life to marine environment is the responsibility of the entire global community.

A Vision for Green Growth

-The sea is green engine for future growth.
-Its abundant resources and potential provide important research into bio- and nanotechnology.

A Vision for Cooperation

-The sea offers a new frontier for global cooperation in order to realize harmonious coexistence with the marine environment.


These visions and themes of Yeosu Expo seems very nice and greatly motivated, but the point that we all should focus is not the overview or appearance of this expo. The most important thing is whether Korea accomplish these tasks, at least achieve one sincerely or truly. In order to support the accomplishment, I think, many people should pay attention to Korean Expo 2012.
